GOALS
To redesign and optimize the Byways Cafe website.
EXECUTION
Meg and Collin have made a great place in Portland. The Cafe carries a mid-western aesthetic that we felt would translate easily to the web.
We wanted to give the site the same feel as the restaurant, so we incorporated two of the cafe's hallmark visual assets into the design: the cafe sign and the wood paneled walls.
The entire site composite revolved around the mid-western aesthetic but was very natural and representative of the business.
By integrating a Twitter feed directly into the site's footer, we gave Meg and Collin the ability to inform their customers of daily specials, new menu items, and store updates. This saves employees time during a busy breakfast or lunch rush because customers can now get information online instead of having to constantly call the cafe.
CASE STUDY
Meg and Collin's web presence was in the dumps and now they're flying hight. Our search engine package allows them to gain greater exposure through organic search engine optimization.
The Byways Cafe website allows Meg and Collin to get a lot of traffic through organic search. This traffic is easily converted to new customers because of easy to ready contact information and Google Maps integration.
CONCLUSION
The Byways Cafe site design works with the restaurant’s image to create a mid-western home on the internet that helps save the owners time by informing their customers of new specials and menu items.
